Backlog of $ 9 Billion in Capital Budget to Impact Defence Capacity Building

The Finance Minister Mr Arun Jaitley is expected to announce the Union Budget on 01 February just about a week away.Mr Jaitley may allocate close to Rs 90,000 Crore to Rs 100,000 Crore for capital acquisitions in the defence budget or $ 14 to $ 16 Billion,However Year on Year Shortfall in allocations for capital budget which for 2017-18 was $ 9 Billion will give little room for defence capacity building.
