Avia Indra Joint Indo-Russia Exercise Enters Operational Phase Avia Indra I, Phase II, joint Indo-Russian exercise, underway at Air Force Station Halwara (Punjab), entered its action phase today. A formal inauguration ceremony was held at the Air Force Station to mark the occasion. The Russian Federation Air Force (RFAF) contingent that arrived here on November 17, 2014 underwent a week long orientation and adaptation phase – familiarising themselves with the operational environment and procedures. They will now jointly exercise with the IAF crew.
