Bangladesh 39 Party 11th Parliamentary Elections on 23rd December

The 11th parliamentary election will be held on December 23, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda announced in his televised speech on 08 November despite the call for delays by the opposition. The CEC said the aspirants will have to submit their nomination papers by November 19. The nomination papers will be scrutinised on November 22, he said adding that the last date for withdrawing candidature is November 29.    Awami League welcomed the Election Commission’s decision and hoped all political parties would join the polls. “A smokescreen had been created over the national election, but it was erased today through the announcement of its schedule,” Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif said......................
