In Afghanistan, the debate over American policy announced by President Donald Trump continued. In an address to the nation on 23 August morning, President Ashraf Ghani said it was now the time for Pakistan to change its approach and that Afghanistan has never taken steps to destabilize Pakistan. Meanwhile following up on the Trump policy speech, US Embassy in Kabul said. "We will remove the incentives for hedging behavior by some that leads to support for the Taliban, and we will emphasise with all regional countries the importance of cooperation to reduce the threat of terrorism and nuclearised conflict."  Bangladesh is reported to be one of the prospective customers that is being looked at by MiG corporation for the sale of MiG 35 as per a report in the Tass. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba in New Delhi.  “I am happy to welcome Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prime Minister of close and friendly neighbor Nepal.  I look forward to holding more extensive talks tomorrow,” Prime Minister Modi tweeted as per the Indian Express.............................
