Pakistan US Early Reset of Relations After Twitter War of Words

After the most recent Twitter War, in which they accused each other for instability in Afghanistan, US President Donald Trump and Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan seem to have made up with the Pakistan Foreign Office indicating receipt of a letter to the Prime Minister. The Foreign Office in a Statement said, “US President Donald Trump, in his letter addressed to Prime Minister Imran Khan, has stated that his most important regional priority was achieving a negotiated settlement of the Afghan war. In this regard, he has sought Pakistan's support and facilitation”. Mr Imran Khan had earlier taken to Twitter to retaliate to President’s Trump’s response that Pakistan was not doing enough to say, “Trump’s false assertions add insult to the injury Pak has suffered in US WoT in terms of lives lost & destabilised & economic costs. He needs to be informed abt historical facts. Pak has suffered enough fighting US's war. Now we will do what is best for our people & our interests.".................[450 Words]
