Pakistan, US Divided on How to Initiate Afghan Peace Talks

Pakistan cautioned United States that cooperation not coercion way forward for two countries to find politically negotiated end to an increasingly deadly war in Afghanistan, message conveyed to U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson when he undertook his inaugural visit to Islamabad for detailed talks, led by PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi with civilian and military leaders said,Pakistani officials and discussions focused on regional counterterrorism efforts and promoting peace talks between Afghan government and Taliban,Tillerson also went into  one-on-one meeting with General Qamar Javed Bajwa accused of covertly maintaining ties and sheltering Taliban leaders, also called for Pakistan to take action against terrorists on its soil and If Pakistan fails to act against terrorists,U.S. will get it done in different way…………….Please Log in or Subscribe to view full details…..
