Observations OF UN Secretary General on the Current Situation in Afghanistan

 UN Secretary General in a report to the UN General Assembly states - On 14 June 2017, I visited Afghanistan to express my solidarity with the Government and people of Afghanistan following the severe terrorist attacks in Kabul on 31 May and 3 June 2017. I left the country deeply concerned about the deteriorating security situation, which has caused not only immense human suffering but also significant internal displacement, as I witnessed during a meeting with internally displaced men and women.
