Millions ofbrave Afghans defied the Taliban to cast theirballots on 20 August in the country's second national elections since Taliban rule.      TheElections to the Presidency and the provincial councils have been held in Afghanistanaccording to Article 156 of the constitution of Islamic Republic ofAfghanistan.
