Commissioning of Chabahar Port – A Boost for India – Afghanistan Trade A report by Pajhwok Afghan News on 27 July indicated that Afghanistan has started product exports through the Chabahar Port in south-eastern Iran. Quoting an official of the Export Promotion Agency of Afghanistan (EPAA) the report indicated that this will overcome the stifling dependence of Afghanistan on Karachi in Pakistan for access to sea borne trade.
