External Affairs Minister Sticks to Tradition First Visit to Bhutan

Ministry of External Affairs indicated that External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar will visit Bhutan from 07-08 June, 2019. This is Dr. Jaishankar’s first visit abroad as the External Affairs Minister and reflects the importance that India attaches to its bilateral relationship with Bhutan, a close friend and neighbour. During the visit, External Affairs Minister is expected to receive audience with H.M. Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the King of Bhutan; call-on Lyonchhen Dr. Lotay Tshering, Prime Minister of Bhutan; and meet his counterpart Lyonpo Dr. Tandi Dorji, Foreign Minister of Bhutan. .......................
