Indian Navy Torpedo Travails Defence Secretary G Mohan Kumar is on a three-day visit to Germany where he will explore the option of getting German Seahake torpedoes for the submarines, reports Sushant Singh in The Indian Express on June 1. The report says that facing the threat of commissioning its latest submarines without torpedoes following the blacklisting of Finmeccanic, the defence ministry is now looking towards Germany for supplying torpedoes for the six under-construction submarines.
