Sri Lanka Army troops prevent flooding of parliament from rain waters

Sri Lanka Army troops rushed to the parliamentary complex, which is on an island, surrounded by the Diyawanna Oya, on early Sunday to prevent rain water from flooding the building that houses the country's supreme legislative body.Troops of the 14 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - West were called in as an emergency situation developed around the Parliament complex due to the torrential rains
