Sri Lanka Army troops delivers drinking water to the drought-affected people in Wanni

 Sri Lanka Army troops continue to deliver drinking water to the drought-affected people in Wanni area of the Northern Province, the Army said. Army troops of the 56 Division Headquarters of the Security Force Headquarters- Wanni in Vavuniya have been supplying water since Thursday (20) to approximately 45,000 drought-affected villagers, who are resident in the areas of responsibility of the division after the serious nature of the prevailing drought was brought to the attention of the troops serving the area.
