NDRF teams have evacuated more than 53,000 flood victims Due to impending flood situation in several districts of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, NDRF has deployed 21 flood rescue teams in Bihar and 19 in Uttar Pradesh. Total 75 teams of NDRF are operational in various parts of the country. NDRF rescuers are relentlessly engaged in rescue and relief work. Yesterday, NDRF Flood Rescue Teams deployed in Bihar at Munger, Samastipur, Begusarai, Fathuha, Patna, Bhagalpur, Didarganj, Danapur, Bakhtiyarpur, Buxer, Vaishali and Chapra conducted rescue and relief operations and evacuated more than 1,748 marooned people to safer places.
