Himalayas region think tank team visits Myanmar to build partnerships A visit to Yangon by a team from Kathmandu has focussed a spotlight on Myanmar’s little-known membership of an intergovernment knowledge centre dedicated to sustainable development in the Hindu Kush Himalayan region. The team of specialists from the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development, based in the Nepalese capital, began a seven-day visit to Yangon on April 19.
