The exposure of the Indian Mujahidin
terror module has been timely for a number of blasts including the recent
Mumbai serial and Delhi High Court blasts have not been concluded. More over
now it appears that for the Pune incident there is more than one theory with
the Maharashtra police apprehending other suspects.
Nevertheless the overall pattern of
Indian Mujahidin operations spread through the country with linkages abroad
under the rubric of the Karachi project seems to be clearly emerging. Perhaps
it was in this context that the Home Minister Mr P Chidambaram commented in his
monthly conference that though the Pakistan Prime Minister Mr Gillani had been
categorised as a man of peace by the Prime Minister himself, there was no
forward movement on terror related cases including Mumbai provided by India to
that country.
